Our layered approach of measures recommended by airports and airlines safeguard public health while offering a practical approach for a gradual restart of operations. We are working continuously with governments to ensure that any measures put in place are done so consistently and with scientific backing. That is key to restoring public confidence so the benefits of safely re-starting aviation can be realized.”

Changes for Aviation Re-Start in Europe

Countries in Europe are using different measures for aviation restart. While countries like Albania, Czech Republic, and other are only allowing select flight types like cargo, repatriation, and humanitarian flights. In countries like Belgium, Moldova, and Iceland you need prior notice for aviation services. Certain European countries require specific documentation because of Covid-19. For instance, In Finland, for Cargo flights you require a border crossing permit from Finnish Border Guard.
