The Key points of the aviation strategy 2030

The main focus of the new aviation strategy 2030 will of course be the aviation. It will include projects that will connect local travel providers and help make improvements in the logistics system. As media reports said, this will help to develop a complete framework to maintain the air freight market share.

Also, the strategy will help in empowering people by sharpening the talents in Sultanate Oman and creating new jobs.

How it will affect the aviation sector?

The main target of the strategy as suggested by the name is the aviation industry. This will be done through four ways.

First through measures like allocation of free zones to airport cities, promoting, aviation industry marketing, establishing marine-air links, and increasing customer efficiency.

Second, through improving the air freight market. The report suggests that a regional centre for logistics services will be set up in the Sultante of Oman. This will help to increase the freight traffic through Oman’s domestic airports.

Third, by improving the infrastructure for Oman Air. Since Oman Air is the nations’ national carrier, restructuring of the airline will directly strengthen the economic growth. The aviation strategy 2030 aims at making Oman Air a destination business model airline, marking the success of Oman’s aviation sector.

Finally, the National Aviation Strategy 2030 will also support the relationship between the tourism and aviation sector by focusing on revenue decline in both the sectors and helping to increase tourists in Oman. For this various digital technologies and innovations will be introduced to make sure the aviation strategy 2030 becomes successful.
